Since the show started, the name ‘Khaleesi’ from game of thrones has been chosen as the name of 146 girls in America. Other names were also inspired by show including Sansa, Theon, Tyrion and Sandor. Not only this, the new specie of sea discovered in the coast of Brazin in 2013 was chosen after Game Of Thrones as, Tritonia Khaleesi.

Sex and Nudity are the most inseparable part of the show and attracted criticism from time to time.
Critic Myles McNutt coined the term ‘sexposition‘ in 2011 to describe the numerous scenes in the show, in which major plot points are exposed by characters talking during sex.

Game of Thrones had been banned by Turkish Army along with a number of Television shows to protect the young ones from the explicit content of Sexual Positions and pornography. According to a report in the Turkish daily newspaper Cumhuriyet, this isn’t the first time that Game of Thrones has caused trouble within the country’s army.
In 2012, officers were kicked out of a military academy in Istanbul for allowing cadets to watch the show.

Near the location where series was filmed, lives Kenny Gracey who runs Forthill Farm in Tandragee. The Game of Thrones Series cast animals from his farm, and made his business rise. Kenny specially bred Iron Age pigs, which have long, dark, bristly hair along with goats, donkeys and deer. These animals are featured in the series a lot.
5. Fans Have Re-imagined The Show In Lots Of Strange Ways
One online Fan known as Sei-G has re-imagined the show as what would Game of Thrones would look like if it were set in feudal Japan. He re-imagined the characters such as Ned Stark and Jon Snow as medieval Samurai warriors, while the Wildlings are depicted dressed like the Ainu, the indigenous people of northern Japan.
