Discover The Awesome Hijab Collection Launched By D&G For Muslim Ladies

Italian Brand Dolce&Gabbana launched it's first ever trendy Hijab collection this week, exclusively on Style.com/Arabia. Fashionistas from western countries, promptly appreciated the debut and the collection is already got viral on the internet.

The Charmeuse styled hijab and abaya collection with floral prints all over is being appreciated by both Muslim and Non-Muslim masses alike, as the pieces are so gorgeously crafted that no lady can deny them from being hailed.

It is surely going to be a good business move by DnG. The pieces are only available in Middle East, and in selected stores of London and Paris. This is surely a delight for a Muslim ladies doing shopping during the Ramadan season, when demand for aesthetic wear is much high.

The western touch in Islamic tradition wear is also inviting new generation of Muslim fashionistas to represent themselves in a contemporary way. Instagram is already thriving with ample posts on this trendy collection with #dgabaya and getting phenomenal appreciation online.

In July, Fortune magazine featured an article, "The Next Big Untapped Fashion Market: Muslim Women" in which they reported -

Muslim spend $266 Billion (more than Italy and Japan, combined) on clothing and footwear. The figure is likely to reach $484 Billion by 2019, which clearly reflects that Muslims are enamored for brands, a lot.

Earlier D&G had also released their other collections before, targeting specific regions. A collection for Moscow was released in October 2015, connected with a new boutique inauguration and one off collection for Japanese and Chinese shoppers.

The fast-fashion retailer Mango, DKNY and Tommy Hilfiger have also released capsule lines to coincide with Ramadan and the luxury e-retailers Net-a-Porter and Moda Operandi have started curating merchandises for Ramadan.
