A British pharmacist and online doctor service, Superdrug, recently discovered that 40% of men from U.K felt pressure to have a perfect body from magazines & Telivisions.
In order to know what a perfect body look like, they asked 18 graphic designers each from different country to photoshop a male model to a perfect body and make him look as attractive as in their countries. In order to study attraction the designers were allowed to make any changes from shape, size, from, coloration, etc. except to cover the model with clothes.
The results are phenomenal and varies from subtle to jaw dropping.
In few images, fine touch given to few model is quite interesting. Like the Russian designer gave model golden hair, while the American artist added a well-gelled coiffe. Serbian designer even drew a half-sleeve tattoo and Bangladesh’s photoshop artist conjured a lungi instead of undergarment.
Remarkable attention is also given to the facial features and fine changes have been made to the eyes, nose, full lips and strong browlines.
We can also see heavy beard in few images and hairstyles of all 18 image are a must to notice.
Superdrugs believe that the results will empower men to keep the mental and physical health above appearances and the actual body confidence is the cultural norm.
Before this, Superdrug conducted the same study across globe for females as well, in which 18 countries participated with their respective designers to photoshop a female model’s image to fit with their culture’s perception of beauty and an ideal female form.
