Bengali, black and white movie got rejected by the censor board, as it revealed full front sexual scenes. For Indian viewers, it became a real tough job to see the uncut whole picture. But, it was unofficially released on YouTube.

India’s first film which comprehensively focused on Indian transexuals, which is still a much misunderstood and tabooed concept. Despite several appeals, the movie was declared vulgar and remained banned.
This movie was banned again because of heterosexual as well as homosexual elements. Title taken from ancient Indian text “KamaSutra.” Also, the film was named in fake name of Maya and Tara and the cast had to improvise fake scenes to avoid nudity but was certainly declared banned.
Hawa Aaane Dey
The movie revolved around a college student Arjun, who was dispassionate and belonged to lower middle class background. He get stuck in a muck, where he doesn’t belong.
The censors refused to give the release certificate without reducing about 20 minutes of film, which included sounds and picture cuts. The director refused to accept the decision, which is why it never reached in cinemas.
Dazed in Doon
It was screened for limited number of viewers, around 4000. Most of the people appreciated the movie but few asserted by saying that, the movie was objectionable because of the bullying, ragging and smoking. In one scene students were bullied in presence of teachers.
Later on, it was considered to be ineligible for big screens.
