DEAD SNAKES

A man flying into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport from South Korea packed 30 dead snakes in jars and bottles inside boxes he checked as luggage.

Even though the creatures were lifeless, screeners took extra precautions because U.S. Fish and Wildlife officers warned that some of the snakes could still contain venom.

Sounds ghoulish enough- A shipment of 18 frozen human heads discovered and seized by customs officials during routine X-ray screening of cargo arriving at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.Turns out the heads were used for medical research in Italy and were being returned for cremation in Illinois.

In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employee found something particularly strange in a checked bag. Sitting in a diver’s suitcase, encased in coral, was a late-18th-century cannonball.

You might not think a cannonball that’s been underwater for several centuries would be dangerous, but the TSA disagrees.

A Chilean man with a broken leg was arrested at Barcelona airport after his “Cast” was found to be made of cocaine not plaster.

The 66-year-old carried six cans of beer and two hollowed-out stools that also contained Cocaine.

Three Dubai-bound foreigners were arrested for allegedly smuggling rare species of small monkeys after a Simian was found hidden in the undergarments of one of the accused at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in New Delhi.

TSA officers stopped a woman at Detroit Metropolitan Airport after a checkpoint X-ray spotted something suspicious in her baggage. Upon further inspection, officers discovered a pink lipstick stun gun in the woman’s baggage.

TSA contacted Wayne County Airport Police and the weapon was confiscated. The woman was allowed to take her flight to Fort Lauderdale, without the weapon. She was cited for a local charge.

Custom officials stopped a woman as she arrived in the southern city of Melbourne on a flight from Singapore and found 51 live tropical fish allegedly hidden in a specially designed apron under her skirt.
